Life is not just about being...

It is not just about getting...

But it is about SHARING...

 

HOME. Basilika ng Nazareno has been a home to many,
 a place of faith, hope and healing.
A place where they can find peace, where they can find joy,
 where they can find LIFE.

SIESTA. It is where these people can rest. Eating, taking a nap, 

and still waiting until someone

 pay attention

 to them and buy flowers and rosary.

ESTIMATING. It is where these kids are trying to estimate
 how much money they can earn to ease their hunger.

It is a HOME where these kids play and work... 

Kiray and his brother who has nothing but HOPE that someone will buy their flowers so they can go home with money to buy food.

GETTING STARTED. Many people are already coming
 in and out of the church, the siblings get started to sell their
 Sampaguitas already.

TRYING HARD.Convincing this man to buy is hard,
 especially if he keeps his eyes straight and do not bother 
to look at this child.

PRETENTION. Despite all the things the siblings said,
this man pretends not to hear anything
and walks out without looking back.

  PLEASE. 10php for one sampaguita would not make
 someone like her poor but can make Kiray
and her other 7 siblings eat.

FAIL. No matter what she does,
she still fail to sell even one Sampaguita.

NEVER GIVE UP. But giving up was never in her vocabulary,
 at the age of 8,
she is already the life of her siblings,
in her hands 9 lives is at stake including her mother and stepfather.

IGNORED. That is why even if she is often ignored by the people,
 she still continues.
One person goes, but another person will come, a new hope for her.

We are being fulfilled by fulfilling other people's needs. God gave us all that we need not for us to be boastful and selfish but for us to share our blessings. We are like an empty glass, but God fill us with water. How can He refill us again if we are not to share?
